They take about 5 minutes of prep and give you some serious veggie-packed, energy-boosting, taste-lovin awesomeness to get the day going.

This Peach Sunrise Green Smoothie is one of my all time favorites. Particularly because my children love it. And when kids are happy about drinking something with vegetables in it, I’m in. So enough talk let’s get right to it. Scroll down if you don’t like pretty pictures and just want to get to the printable recipe.
First thing we’re going to add is our greens. Now kale is well known for it’s superfood qualities, but I find it too bitter on its own. For this recipe we’re going two parts spinach to one part kale.
Next you’re going to add in your fruits. Peaches and strawberries are the stars of this show. As if the taste isn’t enough, just look at those colors! (Odd things make me happy…)
Our fats will be coming from a can of real coconut milk. I like to stir it up a bit before dumping it in so that the cream that separates in the can is easier to blend into the smoothie.
Now dump that baby on top!
Last we need some liquid to help it blend and some ice to keep it cold. Now I like to use apple juice to make it very kid friendly. If you aren’t needing so much sweet, you can either do half apple juice and half water, or all water and a couple tablespoons of honey for sweetness.
Now blend it up!
Shabam! Five minutes later you have a serving of fruits and veggies out of the way and a great start to your day.
Peach Sunrise Green Smoothie
Try this energy packed green smoothie that everyone in the family will want to drink! Featuring peach and strawberry along with a tropical coconut accent.
Prep Time: 5 mins
- 3 cups Baby Spinach
- 1 1/2 cups Kale, chopped
- 2 Peaches, pitted and quartered
- 6 Strawberries, halved
- 1 can Real Coconut Milk
- 3 cups Apple Juice, no sugar added
- 7 Ice Cubes
- Add ingredients in order of the list to a blender. Blend on low for 20 seconds then on high until fully blended.
