Easy. Delicious. Kidswilleatit. My three favorite words ever…
This roast is one of my all time favorite crockpot dinners and it won’t take long for you to understand why.

It’s easy. Oh so insanely easy. Like so easy your mother in law will side-eye your ingenious short cutting.
Which brings me to delicious. It’s good guys.
And finally – kidswilleatit. Okay so this is actually four words. You caught me. But I think you’re picking up what I’m putting down. There are few things as maddening as slaving away making dinner then having your spawn-humans push it away because it is “yucky”.
Behold the Mississippi Crockpot Roast! You’re going to start with a good cut of roast. Yes, even the notoriously tough grassfed kind will taste amazing.
Chuck that thing in a crockpot.
Sprinkle your ranch dressing and au jus gravy mixes on top.
Cut your butter into small pieces and space them on top of the roast. Then top it with all the pepperoncini peppers your heart desires.
Cover and cook it on low for 6-7 hours.
My favorite things to serve it with are broccoli, roasted carrots and mashed potatoes. Because if I’m making comfort food I’m going all in.
